Local musicians/producers from Serotonin Productions, Guy Cooper, Luke Reichelt and Scott Saunders are offering an interactive information presentation and workshop for schools and education organisations for students interested in the music industry, audio production , creative arts, management and new media.
Guy, Luke and Scott are all graduates from the QLD Conservatorium of music, were Guy is now a lecturer, as well as having a long list of professional achievements in the local and international music industry. The presentation/workshop will provide information for professional career paths in the music/audio/entertainment industry, education options, as well as first hand experience with the new technology and talented songwriters. It will include audio and video examples about the different areas of the music and audio industry, followed by a real-time live example of audio recording and production with all the students that they will be able to download after the workshop. The workshop will finish with a live video examples, handouts and information for the students on where to start and some time for any questions.
The presentation and workshop will go for a min of 2 hours and can be extended to 3 depending on your schools schedule with time included in this for any questions or discussion from the students (we are happy to stay after the workshop and discuss career and education options with any keen students). Over $35,000 worth of Audio/Visual and musical equipment and technology will be brought and setup by the presenters, giving your students experience and examples of real world industry standard equipment and instruments.

Guy currently lectures audio production, music development and live performance at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Gold Coast, as well as running the annual ‘Rock School’ program.

We prefer class of under or around 100 students, but can deliver to up to 150 if seating and viewing space is available. Our simple requirements are a presentation space, access to a power point and a white screen (wall or board) for our video projection so all students can see. We will bring our own sound system and instruments for music playback and speech.
